CH3OH

 

CH3OH provides ideal gas thermodynamic and transport property data for low pressure gaseous methanol over the temperature range from 200 K to 3500 K.  The ideal gas specific heat is based on data provided by

The reference state for specific enthalpy is based on the enthalpy of formation relative to the elements (-200,928 at 25 C.  The reference state for specific entropy is based on the Third Law of thermodynamics (239.795 kJ/kgmol-K at 25 C, 101.3 kPa).  These reference state values were obtained from McBride et al. in the above reference.
