SulfurDioxide

SulfurDioxide provides high accuracy thermodynamic properties for sulfur dioxide (SO2, MW 64.06 g/gmole, CAS No 7446-09-5) using the Fundamental Equation of State presented in:

Short Fundamental Equations of State for 20 Industrial Fluids

Eric W. Lemmon, Roland Span

J. Chem. Eng. Data, 2006, 51 (3), 785-850

The correlation is valid for temperatures in the range between triple point at 197.7 K to 525 K for pressures less than 35 MPa.  Enthalpy and entropy values are referenced to 200 kJ/kg and 1 kJ/kg-K respectively for saturated liquid at 273.15 K.

Transport properties are provided using correlations given in:

Yaws, Carl L., ed. Chemical Properties Handbook. New York: McGraw-Hill, 1999.

Surface tension data are provided using the information in:

Mulero, A., Cachadina, I, and Parra, M.

"Recommended Correlations for the Surface Tension of Common Fluids"
