R1336mzz(Z)
R1336mzz(Z) (also referred to as HFO1336mzz(Z)) provides approximate thermodynamic property data for cis-1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-butene, MW 164.056 g/gmole, CAS# 692-49-9). This fluid is also known DR-2 and Formacel®1100. The thermodynamic properties are obtained using the Martin-Hou equation of state (A.I.Ch.E. Journal, 1:142, 1955) as fitted by S.A. Klein based on data provided by:
Katsuyuki Tanaka, Ryo Akasaka, Eiichi Sakaue, Junichi Ishikawa, and Konstantinos Kostas Kontomaris
"Thermodynamic Properties of cis-1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-butene (HFO-1336mzz(Z)): Measurements of the pñT Property and Determinations of Vapor Pressures, Saturated Liquid and Vapor Densities, and Critical Parameters"
J. Chem. Eng. Data 2016, 61, 2467-2473
The properties are valid for temperatures between 270 K and 500 K for pressures up to 10 MPa.
The IIR reference is used for specific enthalpy and entropy, i.e., h=200 kJ/kg and s=1 kJ/kg-K for saturated liquid at 273.15 K.
Transport properties for the liquid phase are estimated for temperatures between 270 K and 430 K based using a corresponding states approach as suggested in:
