R417A

R417A (also known as Isceon 59) is a zeotropic mixture consisting of 50 weight% R134a, 46.6% R125, and 3.4% n-Butane that is considered to be a replacement fluid for R22. It has a molar mass of 106.75 kg/kmol.

Property data for R417A are provided using a generalized equation of state fitted by F-Chart Software using thermodynamic property data provided by REFPROP and the Honeywell Genetron Properties program (Ver. 1.4)  (https://www.honeywell-refrigerants.com/india/genetron-refrigerants-modeling-software-download)The correlations are applicable for temperatures between 220 K and 470 K with pressures up to 20 MPa.  The reference state is saturated liquid at 0 C for which specific enthalpy and entropy are 200 kJ/kg and 1.0 kJ/kg-K, respectively.

Transport data are provided using correlations to the data provided in REFPROP and in following publication.
