Academic Site Licenses |
A limited academic version of FEHT is provided with the following Wiley textbooks:
Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer, 4th edition, F.P. Incropera and D.P. Dewitt
The limited academic version provides all of the capabilities of the commercial version, except that it has a limit of 1,000 nodes whereas the commercial version has a limit of 12,000 nodes. Academic site licenses for FEHT are exclusively available to departments of educational institutions for a one-time charge of $800. The educational site license allows the program to be placed on a server and copied by students for personal use. The academic version provides all of the capabilities of the commercial version but it expires on September 1 of each year. A new version is electonically provided to the institution each year at no cost with an expiration date in the following year. Contact F-Chart Software for further details. |
