Academic Site Licences
A limited academic version of FEHT is provided with the following Wiley textbooks:
- Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer, 6th edition, Incropera, DeWitt, Bergman and Lavine
- Introduction to Heat Transfer, 5th edition, Incropera, DeWitt, Bergman and Lavine
The limited academic version provides all of the capabilities of the commercial version, except that it has a limit of 1,000 nodes whereas the commercial version has a limit of 12,000 nodes.
Academic site licenses for FEHT are exclusively available to departments of educational institutions for a one-time charge of $800. The educational site license allows the program to be placed on a server and copied by students for personal use. The academic version provides all of the capabilities of the commercial version but it expires on September 1 of each year. A new version is electonically provided to the institution each year at no cost with an expiration date in the following year.
